Action Net Zero partners with Propflo

We've started a partnership with award-winning AI tech startup Propflo, to help homeowners make their properties more energy efficient and environmentally friendly.

Propflo is a data-driven AI platform that supports lenders and property businesses to comply with energy efficiency regulations, meet their climate targets, and then support their customers. It was founded by entrepreneur Luke Loveridge and scientist Dr Daniel Moyo, both advised by world leading AI expert Mike Tipping.

Pam Barbato, founder of Action Net Zero, said:

“This is a natural partnership for us as the Propflo platform provides homeowners across the country with a fantastic engagement and delivery tool, demonstrating how their homes can be invested in to benefit their lives, whether that’s retrofitting to reduce energy bills, improve thermal comfort, transitioning to green energy or increasing the value of their properties. We’re delighted to be creating a deeper relationship between Propflo and Action Net Zero to help accelerate people’s ability to green their homes and support net zero targets”.

Action Net Zero is currently working with a number of aligned partners to scale operations across the South West, which allows the organization to support more residents and businesses on their net zero journey.

One key priority is to make it easier for homeowners to retrofit their properties, and Propflo’s innovative GreenVal energy efficiency digital tool will help them achieve this.

GreenVal was the first energy efficiency one-stop-shop used by a mortgage lender, mortgage broker and estate agent with a reach of over 1.5 million homeowners. It provides information to guide homeowners around retro-fitting their homes, taking steps to be more energy efficient and, ultimately could add value to their homes if they ever wanted to sell their property on.

It can provide:

  • A comprehensive business case: outlining in detail the benefits and costs associated with making a property more energy efficient.
  • A resilience rating: helping homeowners understand the resilience of their property by rating factors such as thermal comfort, air quality, and financial stability.
  • Direct quotes: an optional ability to get quotes for significant improvements from leading accredited national suppliers with local contractors.
  • Discover solutions: allows homeowners to discover add-ons and alternatives such as batteries, EV charge points and heat pumps to further enhance a property’s sustainability and resilience ratings.
  • DIY options: allows homeowners to explore low-cost and do-it-yourself improvement opportunities, available for direct purchase.

Luke Loveridge, Founder and CEO of Bristol-based Propflo, said:

“Action Net Zero is really forward thinking and now the first social enterprise to have such an advanced solution to support homeowners to retrofit their properties. Although we have expert knowledge and experience in the mortgage and property sectors, this partnership shows that our platform is flexible to meet the needs of a variety of organisations from social enterprises, local authorities, energy suppliers to retail.”

Pamela and her team have also supported Propflo by running a number of free online webinars on LinkedIn to support people in the property sector to get ahead of the green curve. Recently more than 400 people attended their two industry webinars.
