Say no to take-away packaging | Help reduce waste

We all love a take-away, but the packaging is a real problem. Start taking your own containers and it will become second nature in no time.

The UK's love of take-aways is not dwindling, with spending set to reach 10.9 billion in 2020 (according to statista). The nation's favourite seems to be good ol' fish and chips, but now that we have Deliveroo we have an impressive range of restaurants to choose from too. And this in turn means an alarming amount of packaging, most of which is single use so ends up in the bin.

What we really need is to get all take-away suppliers to use 100% recyclable packaging, seems a simple solution doesn't it!  If you've registered with us and want to join the discussion, please comment below!

For now though, one way of combatting the issue is to get into the habit of taking your own take-away boxes when you pop to the local fish and chip shop or curry house.
